As an active chapter member of the California Young Democrats and Young Democrats of America, the Kern County Young Democrats (KCYD) are committed to developing, supporting, and sustaining a strong network of local young Democrats in Kern County in their efforts to raise the awareness of pressing issues, helping to mold the future of the Democratic Party.  We only have a few requirements to be a member of KCYD - you must be a registered Democrat under the age of 35, and be committed to making a difference in Kern County!  Whether you are a already a member of KCYD, someone who has an interest in Democratic politics and the California Young Democrats, or someone who simply wants to learn about the political issues facing Kern County and California, we welcome you to explore the site, attend a meeting, or pose a question to one of our board members.  Thank you for your interest in KCYD and Kern County politics - we look forward to seeing you at one of our meetings!
